The area and our location

This bed and breakfast property occupies a prestigious church square location in the centre of the small traditional spanish village of Montichelvo (sometimes spelt Montixelvo, Montitxelbo or Montixelvo!) only 20 minutes from the busy coastal town of Gandia and the Costa Blanca and Costa Del Azahar's superb Mediterranean blue flag beaches.

Slightly away from the coast the house is nestled in the Vall d'Albaida at the foot of the Penyes Albas mountain range – a great place for walking right in the back yard.

Being in a typical spanish area the house is ideally placed for a variety of  activities – including sightseeing, walking, mountain biking and climbing. The beautiful city of Valencia is just over an hour away by road or rail. The area is well placed for both Alicante and Valencia airports both of which are served by budget flights providers.
